OCTOBER 16-NOVEMBER 6, 2016
In this exhibition, eight women artists examine the symbolism and language of clothing, its ability to confer different qualities upon the wearer, its ability to evoke memories and its ability to act as a conduit to other states of being and energy.
The artists, who live and work in southern Ontario, have taken different aspects of the theme and produced a wide range of unusual pieces including installations, assemblages, conceptual art as well as paintings and work in textiles.
Throughout the duration of the exhibition some of the artists will give a talk about their work and a catalogue will be available.
