DIFFERENT STROKES FOR GEORGETOWN FOLKS

October 8-25, 2015

Join us for the Opening Reception on Thursday October 8, 6-8pm

Enjoy the Red Door Gallery full of colour, with selected work from The North Brampton Watercolour Society. The society was established over 20 years ago, and met at the tiny room of the Old Bovaird House. Now, including some original members, the society still meets every Thursday evening at Loafers Lake Recreation Center at 30 Loafers Lake Lane, Brampton, Ont. The group shares experiences in watercolour painting rather than offering formal teaching, and all styles are accepted; from scratchboard painting to abstract or traditional.

Many of the society artists show their work at the Old Mill Gallery, Beaux Arts Brampton Gallery or Williams Mill Visual Arts Centre, Glen Williams.

Artists whose work is featured in the show include:  Anica Macevic , Reva Pierson,  Charlene Nickels,  Margaret Pardy,  Harry Milanowski,  Gord Stuart,  Henny Dagenais,  Fern Hillier,  Helen Duplassie,  Kelly McNeil and Sherry Park.
